Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen "A. P. J." Abdul Kalam was the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. A career scientist turned politician, Kalam was born and raised in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, and studied physics and aerospace engineering. He spent the next four decades as a scientist and science administrator, mainly at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and was intimately involved in India's civilian space program and military missile development efforts.After graduating from the Madras Institute of Technology in 1960, Kalam joined the Aeronautical Development Establishment of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) as a scientist. Kalam was noted for his integrity and his simple lifestyle. He never owned a television, and was in the habit of waking up at 6:30 or 7 a.m and sleeping by 2 a.m. His few personal possessions included his books, his veena, some articles of clothing, a CD player and a laptop at his death.

The Taj Mahal  is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.The Taj Mahal was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 for being "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage". Described by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore as "the tear-drop on the cheek of time", it is regarded by many as the best example of Mughal architecture and a symbol of India's rich history.
The tomb is the central focus of the entire complex of the Taj Mahal. It is a large, white marble structure standing on a square plinth and consists of a symmetrical building with an iwan topped by a large dome and finial. Like most Mughal tombs, the basic elements are Persian in origin.

Taj Mahal was built on memory of his wife mumtaz but outside of taj mahal walls, there are smaller tombs of other Shah jahan's wives.

Shah jahan decided to bulit another Taj Mahal with black marbel but his son interrupted that and made him house arrest later put him in prison.

Taj Mahal takes on different colouring at different times of the day from pinkish hue in the morning, Milky white in the evening and golden at the night. 

P.N.OAK was an indian writer who claimed that Taj Mahal is not the Islamic mausoleum  but an ancient shiva temple known as Tejo mahalaya.

The Makrana marble is used for the construction of Taj Mahal. This was brought from the place makrana in Rajasthan India.

There are Ninety nine 99 names of Allah found on the sides of the Actual tomb as a calligraphic inscriptions.

The Architect of the Taj Mahal employed an optical trick so that as you move closer to the gate, the Taj Mahal keeps getting smaller..

During Modern wars, scaffolding was used to hide Taj Mahal from air bombers. 

The Taj Mahal attracts 7-8 million visitors annually with over 200,000 from the overseas. Thus by generating a huge income for the government.

The Architecture used in the construction of the Taj Mahal is a combination of Persian,Islamic and Indian architecture.

Thirty 30 different varities of semi precious and precious stones were used in the construction of Taj Mahal which made it to look beautiful.

Taj Mahal is perfectly symmetrical in every aspect of it's construction but except for one thing. The two tombs inside are  not equal in size. This is because male tomb had to be larger than female tomb.


The word Taj Mahal is an extract from the Persian or Arabic word which means '' Crown of Palaces''.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar  is an Indian international cricketer who plays for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket, and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. He made his international debut against Pakistan in which he impressed the selectors to claim a berth in Test cricket. He made his debut against Australia but failed to impress in his very first test. He bowled to his potential in the India tour of England and retained his place in the side. He was the stand out bowler for India in the Champions Trophy winning team. Due to his poor form and immense competition from the other bowlers made the selectors to drop him from the national side. but he proved himself in the last two editions of the Indian premier league. he is the purple cap holder in the last edition of IPL . Finally he is rewarded with the place in the test side for the upcoming tour of West Indies where India will be playing 4 match series. Apart from playing cricket he is a good movie lover, so when asked about his favourite movie, without any hesitation he said 3 Idiots

He proved to be  more succesful in the England Conditions during champions trophy and India tour of England. when asked about favourite venue he picked Lord's the Home of cricket.

We often see cricketers dating the movie stars. when asked about his celebrity crush, he picked Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kappor.
