Bhuvneshwar Kumar is an Indian international cricketer who plays for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket, and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. He made his international debut against Pakistan in which he impressed the selectors to claim a berth in Test cricket. He made his debut against Australia but failed to impress in his very first test. He bowled to his potential in the India tour of England and retained his place in the side. He was the stand out bowler for India in the Champions Trophy winning team. Due to his poor form and immense competition from the other bowlers made the selectors to drop him from the national side. but he proved himself in the last two editions of the Indian premier league. he is the purple cap holder in the last edition of IPL .
